If you were one of the first two people to download the first two patches 
for 2.5.24, you probably got a compile error in ksyms.c.  Sorry. :-)
I fixed the patch in-place, so anything dated Jun 21 or later works fine.

The updated patches with the "-2" extension include some minor cleanups.
