This script is based on open source. The author is Dave
Van Abel of Vanabel.com and Perlsources.com.
Some uses
- It can be used as a general purpose software upload script to a specified
server directory.
- The script can automatically timestamp each uploaded file. Thus allowing
multiple versions of the same file to be uploaded.
- The script has a file size upload limit functionality, which is user
configurable.
Now it works
- The script is run from a browser.
- The end-user can upload any type of file to the server.
Requirements
- Perl5, Web Server, Linux-UNIX-FreeBSD Server.
- Ability to run CGI scripts on the Web Server.
- The script may run on Windows, but is not tested.
